Bites Baked Goods Review (& Giveaway)

Bites Baked Goods, by Christina Covell located in New York? Never heard of them? Yeah, well - I hadn't either. I am so glad I got to talk to Chrissy (the owner) though! She's got a really sweet talent, she's awesome AND super excited to get some views and feedback, so make sure you go check out her great work and leave her some love on etsy, her blog, instagram or even facebook! If you get a chance, visit her blog and read more about her, but if not - here is a little teeny snippet:
"... Bites Baked Goods was born. Now I run a licensed business and work out of a professional kitchen, producing custom orders ranging from colorful decorated sugar cookies to wedding cakes to savory hors d’ oeuvres."
She's got the whole Etsy thing on lock too! Check out some sample photos from her shop:

Basically, Bites Baked Goods makes some pretty great looking cookies. (see below for more on taste!) We get that right? Here's the amazing part: I am on the opposite side of the United States than she is. And the day I got her package? The mailman left it in the mailbox, instead of you know - bringing it up to the door. It was a very humid 106* in the shade, and these cookies are in a box inside a metal mailbox ... yay for all this California sunshine! To be perfectly honest - I was soo worried they'd be a melted soggy mess. I even opened it super carefully, expecting a rush of cookie mess. Well, it didn't happen. Christina had individually packaged them in heat-sealed bags, then wrapped them in bubble wrap! Check it out:

So you KNOW I'm totally impressed. If these babies made it through this weather? And still managed to come through as crisp, clean and beautiful as they started out?! Dude, you have NO worries when you order from her! She wrapped them so awesomely and perfectly, the mailman could have dropped it and they'd have been fine ... but anywhoo, my kids wanted to pose, so ...

Antonio said this one is his favorite because it's like Austin 3:16.

Squish had already taken a bite by the time my camera loaded.

I just HAD to show you how thick and well made these cookies are!

I love the vanilla ones! I have never been a huge chocolate person, but I can't deny that they totally taste like Cocoa Pebbles. Yum! But the vanillas?! Delicious - like melt in your mouth goodness kissed by vanilla. They even SMELL great! You guys should totally check her out -it's soo worth it!

  4. Wow, those cookies look amazing. I think it takes real artistic talent to bake and decorate baked goods this way. It is a real treat for those who get to enjoy the delectable spoils. I like that they are in NY because it means we get to head over there to try them.
